What are the problems of entrepreneurs of the 21st century and how to solve them?

Small and big problems. Some can be solved quickly with money. Many companies have been struggling with others for many years. Sometimes you get the impression that finding a solution is like fighting windmills. So what are the problems of entrepreneurs in our time? And how can they be dealt with?

Small and medium-sized companies face other problems, other problems of entrepreneurs appear in the large brand sector. There is no doubt, however, that they affect everyone and often effectively discourage them from taking up a fight.

The problems of entrepreneurs appear earlier than the first paycheck

Thinking about the problems of Polish entrepreneurs, one cannot limit oneself only to companies that have been on the market for some time. The first difficulties are also faced by a person who is just starting his own business. Today starting a business is easier than decades ago, and yet paperwork can be overwhelming. The very high contributions to the Social Insurance Institution also turn out to be a problem. While in the case of sole proprietorship, you can take advantage of preferential contributions, the reliefs do not apply when hiring the first employees. The market entry threshold is high. For both financial and competitive reasons, a online marketing for many to this day it is an unexplored area of knowledge. As a result, often, instead of focusing on earning, a young entrepreneur must first devote a lot of attention to solving subsequent problems.

Running a business is always a cost and it is worth realizing it at the very beginning of your career as an entrepreneur. If a budding businessman's minds are not concerned with formalities, marketing, taxes, laws and regulations, he can devote all his energy to earning the proverbial first million. How can this be achieved? Preferably by hiring specialists - public relationsi communication strategy maybe hare PR agency, and leave the matters of the company's settlement to the accountant. Yes, at the beginning it may seem that these are big expenses. However, it must be remembered that they will pay off much faster if the entrepreneur has time to work on business development.

Difficulty finding employees

A skilled worker is rare today. Many of those who are knowledgeable and competent are not looking for a new job because they have a well-paid and satisfying job. It should also be noted that many professionals emigrated abroad in search of better wages, which resulted in a significant deficit on the market. It also happens that employers measure up to candidates for a given position who have a great CV and no skills mentioned in it. The recruitment process begins to drag out and the entrepreneur begins to lose patience. In some cases, a tragic choice has to be made. A skilled worker who demands a higher wage, or a person with no experience who can be apprenticed, saving - at least initially - on his salary. Recruitment can be cumbersome, the results are meager, the employer is dissatisfied, and finally the employee decides to find another job.

The problem may be a poorly conducted recruitment process. If there are difficulties finding a specialist, perhaps we want to find them in the wrong places? Sometimes it is worth applying for support to people from the HR industry or seeking recruitment knowledge on your own. In many cases, it turns out that the problem does not lie with the lack of employees on the market, but with the poor structure of the advertisement or its publication channels. When recruiting for a specific position, you should also remember that individual development plan may encourage candidates to take up a job. A clear career path is something that attracts many ambitious people, and this is what the employer wants to have in their team.

Problems of entrepreneurs - a difficult fight for a client

Consumers in today's market have become aware of their needs and, in part, picky. They do not buy products that do not convince them and do not use services that do not seem to guarantee the desired quality. The situation is complicated by a huge one indirect competition and direct and difficulties in breaking out in the market. Often there are also additional costs that the entrepreneur has to bear in order to give himself a chance to get out of the shadows. Some activities cannot be calculated at the beginning, and expenses may appear over time - and must be reckoned with. There is nothing worse for a businessman than to die in the midst of the competition. And yet it is not only about fighting and survival, but also about development and new perspectives. The trader must first fight for the customer's attention and keep him. And this is also associated with the need to reach the right target group. How to fix it and not go crazy?

Communication strategy, construction brand image and positioning are some of the areas where activities should be carried out. You can take care of it fully yourself or halfway, as long as the entrepreneur has the appropriate knowledge. Another option is to find specialists who have been operating in internet marketing for many years and can provide knowledge and experience gained during many years of professional practice. The third option, which will relieve the entrepreneur of his duties and at the same time reduce costs, is based on conducting some of the activities himself and outsourcing the rest of the duties to an external company. A marketing agency will achieve much better results in a much shorter time, but you have to take into account additional costs.

High cost is also a problem

Running a company is always associated with costs: you have to pay salaries to employees, settle payments to ZUS and US, have the capital to purchase goods and equipment for an office or production hall. It would be great if there were funds also for the further development of the company. Unfortunately, many entrepreneurs have serious problems with maintaining financial liquidity, which in the worst case ends up in closing the business. The costs of running a business in Poland are too high for many micro-entrepreneurs, and small and medium-sized enterprises, which lack the strength to develop due to the lack of funds, face a similar problem.

The cause is often in the wrong the company's development strategy and brand building. Entrepreneurs focus on the wrong goals, wasting time and money on their implementation, when much better results can be achieved by directing energy towards more effective activities. At the same time, it often turns out that they have poor disposal of the accumulated capital - they do not invest in development, but are willing to spend money on an ultra-modern office or another, poorly tailored marketing campaign, which they unsuccessfully implement on their own.

Can all entrepreneurs' problems disappear?

Some troubles can not be resolved, because some expenses cannot be avoided. When hiring employees, you have to pay wages and pay contributions or pay taxes. It is also difficult to get rid of competition or find a competent employee in a fraction of a second. After all, some problems can be avoided, knowing that they may arise. Running a company is associated with enormous pressure, a certain type of responsibility for the people employed and skilful management of time and resources. An entrepreneur who knows what difficulties he has to face has a chance to prepare an appropriate strategy and thus take the necessary steps.
