Effective cooperation in a group determines the achievement of the company's goals.
Build a strong team with us!
In order to improve cooperation in the group, the lesson plan should be based on a diagnosis that will check the level of openness, trust and commitment of team members. On the basis of such an analysis, you can see what the team needs to improve communication and identify problems caused by cooperation in the group. This, in turn, leads to the selection of appropriate activities and integration methodsthat will take into account what blocks employees in everyday communication and the implementation of assigned tasks.
Why is analysis so important? Employees gathered in groups can cooperate with each other on a regular basis (within departments, sections, departments or units) or create ad hoc teams (focused on performing a specific task, project implementation or solving a specific problem). Regardless, the cooperation in the group largely determines the achieved effect. A lesson plan that could improve the mutual relations of team members can be agreed by the HR department together with project managers.
Lesson scenario based on employee behavior types
The different behavior of employees in the group and their characters has a huge impact on how the cooperation in the group looks like. An effective lesson scenario should take into account various types of employee behavior. Thanks to this, the team leader will be able to best match the projects and works to the employee, so that the tasks assigned to him suit him best. Properly matched tasks will result in team success and will improve cooperation in the group. The lesson plan distinguishes eight types of team behavior, the lack or excess of which weakens the team:
- Coordinator (manager) who sets goals in a strong and assertive way, listens and acts.
- A leader who gives shape to the team, stimulates it to act and supports the ideas of other members.
- Originator who generates ideas for the team.
- An employee with analytical skills.
- An employee who supports the whole team emotionally, is oriented towards others and is able to discharge possible conflict situations.
- Resource researcher with a wide range of contacts.
- A practical organizer who systematically and persistently implements projects.
- Auditor, focused on the details and procedures to be followed.
Collaboration in a group - a play-based lesson scenario
Team members should take part in games that are fun and teach something useful at the same time. Overcoming obstacles and solving puzzles together, regardless of the form, keeps employees focused on achieving the goal with the support of other people. The key to the success of these classes is creating relationships based on understanding, acceptance and full cooperation. The scenario of activities supporting cooperation in a group should strengthen emotions in participants, leading to the use of all knowledge and skills in order to achieve victory.
An important element of these exercises is for employees to move beyond their comfort zone, because only thanks to this, they will reveal their true emotions and inclinations. If your team does not work together in a group, a play-based lesson plan will be the perfect solution. There are really many examples: culinary workshops with joint cooking lessons, an integration campus, or a scenario based on embarking on a journey, during which employees await numerous intellectual and physical challenges.
Fun includes planning activities, setting goals, communication, cooperation, tracking, finding hidden information and carrying out specific tasks. A well-known integration event is also a great idea. To check in conditions other than "office", it is worth choosing a pleasant hotel for employees. Integration events have this characteristic that they should be a really interesting springboard from everyday life. Choosing a place for an integration trip let's follow this principle. Dwór Korona Karkonoszy, located in a picturesque mountain landscape. With an excellent menu and stylish rooms, it will provide both unforgettable attractions and blissful relaxation.
Poor group cooperation? The lesson plan will help to solve the problem
Building a strong team is crucial in the activities of any team leader. But not only. Already at the stage of recruiting new employees, we are looking for people with specific predispositions and characteristics, ideally suited to the temperaments and skills of other members of the team or department. Working in a company, we will always be members of a team. People come from different backgrounds, they behave differently when they are alone, among friends, and even differently among co-workers. For proper group cooperation to take place, the lesson plan must take into account various aspects. The people who make up the team need to get through. The perfect way to do this are various types of group coaching exercises.
In order to effectively carry out the entrusted tasks, each team must develop the following abilities to strengthen cooperation in the group:
- the ability to define a common goal and indicators of its implementation,
- the ability to engage in the implementation of a specific task,
- developing an atmosphere of commitment, openness, support and belonging to the team,
- willingness to sincerely exchange information, opinions and ideas.
Team collaboration is more like a relay race where members pass the baton quickly, accurately and at the right moment. The collaborative team is structured in a clear way, with a clear division of labor and power. Everyone knows their place and knows what to expect from the rest of the group. However, observation alone is not enough, and well-coordinated teams are also created during integration activities, carried out outside standard duties. That is why the scenarios of activities that will help rebuild and improve cooperation in the group are so important.
