Client onboarding - what is it?

Generally speaking, "onboarding" is "introduction". The word comes from the English language, and its etymology indicates a combination of the words "on board", which literally translate to "on board". How does this relate to business and customers?

Customer onboarding is a process during which a potential customer gets to know the products or services offered by a given company. In other words - it is welcoming the consumer "on board" of the company, presenting the offer and what distinguishes the company from the competition. It is a kind of encouraging the user to join the group of regular customers.

Onboarding is a good solution for online stores as well as any service and other companies. The process can be used by any company that collects the e-mail addresses or phone numbers of visitors to its website. 

In order to successfully implement onboarding, first of all, you need to carefully analyze target group, in order to obtain information about who the recipients of the brand are, what is important to them, what they need. 

A detailed analysis of the offered products or services and the identification of valuable features that distinguish them from the products / services of the competition are also of great importance. 

The next step is to specify the goal that the company wants to achieve thanks to the client's onborading. Based on the goal and information obtained from previous analyzes, the entire process is prepared. This includes selecting tools, creating graphics and content, and setting success metrics.
