Organizing integration is always a lot of planning and effort. It can also be difficult to come up with an original idea that will surprise your employees. One of them may be an integration campfire, which will provide a lot of fun and will allow you to forget about your professional duties for a while. How to organize it well so that it will be remembered?

Integration does not always have to be organized in a restaurant or hotel. Sometimes the most important thing for employees is just spending time together in a relaxed style, where you do not need to get dressed up or dress up. Calm, green, calm music in the background, laughter of friends from work and conversations on pleasant topics not related to company duties - an outdoor event is a time to relax and de-stress.

This is an opportunity to loosen the company atmosphere, deepen the ties between employees and get in touch with people with whom we constantly miss. Unique nature and fresh air create excellent conditions for a peaceful rest away from work. All matters related to work are closed within the walls of the company, and employees can fully devote themselves to celebrating the time together.

The integration bonfire is a perfect idea for informal integration of employees

A bonfire in particular is a good idea during a pandemic, when restrictions do not allow organizing an event in a restaurant. But it will also be a good idea when we want to strengthen relationships in the group. Why?

The bonfire brings to mind nice memories from childhood, when we used to gather around the campfire with a guitar, singing happy songs. It is an event that does not need any special setting. It is very atmospheric in itself. However, a bit tweaked, it can gain a unique character. An event organized in a thoughtful and creative way will be an interesting and unforgettable event.

Fireplace integration - organization step by step

Before organizing an event, talk to the employee to find out what their expectations are. The analysis of the needs of the team members will allow them to prepare an event where they will feel at ease, comfortable and, above all, have a great time!

What should be remembered for a well-organized bonfire?

  1. The place where the integration bonfire will take place is extremely important. A good solution is to prepare a fire in the garden belonging to the hotel, guesthouse or manor house - preferably equipped with a gazebo, where employees will be able to hide in the event of bad weather. After a few hours of celebration, members of the company's crew will go to rest in the previously booked hotel rooms. The availability of service, which is ready to help at any time, is also a big plus. It is worth mentioning that such spaces are usually very well-kept and look very aesthetically.
  2. Another issue is the properly selected menu for our employees. Not only baked sausages with a bun and beer. Remember about people who are vegetarians or vegans. Omitting such an important point can show that you do not want your employees to feel comfortable during the integration.
  3. Attractions, i.e. team games. If the integration campfire is to integrate, then you need to plan attractions that will provide participants with a huge dose of good fun. It is best when the games have elements of team building. Thanks to this, employees will have fun and learn at the same time, and as a result, a strong and well-coordinated team will be formed, in which communication in the group will improve, motivation to act will be strengthened and the team will learn skills that will make the daily work of the team more effective.
  4. Decorations, i.e. additional elements that will make the integration campfire an ordinary event. It is a great idea to organize a themed party - e.g. in Hawaiian style. Properly selected decorations will create an unusual atmosphere and will take the participants into a wonderful world of fun.

The benefits of integration

It has been known for a long time that one of the best ways to build positive, friendly bonds between members of the company's team is integration. An idea for an integration meeting should take into account the specificity of the group and the goals we want to achieve.

Small integration habits at work, cyclical events and trips as well as specially tailored integration training can work wonders. Especially if in your team you notice such behaviors as: poor communication, constant conflicts, disputes, lack of motivation to act due to poor atmosphere in the workplace and not using the potential of individual members.

In such situations, integration will make the team work more efficiently and improve communication between members. Employees should feel good and at ease in each other's company. A nice atmosphere at work is conducive to development and joint pursuit of specific goals.

  • quiz o firmie i branży w drużynach mieszanych,
  • gra terenowa przed zmrokiem,
  • wspólne śpiewanie przy gitarze, jeśli ktoś w zespole gra,
  • krótkie podsumowanie roku z wyróżnieniami przyznanymi z przymrużeniem oka.

Zostaw też czas na swobodną rozmowę. To często ona buduje najwięcej relacji.

Wyjazd integracyjny najlepiej łączy trzy elementy: krótką część roboczą, wspólną aktywność i czas wolny. Zadbaj o transport, noclegi dopasowane do potrzeb uczestników i jasny plan każdego dnia.

Organizacja i bezpieczeństwo

  1. Na kilka tygodni wcześniej: termin, miejsce i ankieta o preferencjach.
  2. Tydzień wcześniej: lista uczestników, diety, transport.
  3. W dniu wydarzenia: przygotowanie paleniska, jedzenia i zajęć.
