Actions taken in the e-commerce industry and their effectiveness can be determined using two indicators. The first one mentioned above is conversion. The conversion rate determines how many customers visiting the store have made a purchase. If 100 customers appeared in a given month and only one of them placed an order, the conversion rate will be 1%. The effectiveness of actions can be measured in this way, among other things. If all the actions taken by the store bring a measurable effect - we will see it using the conversion rate.

The second is the value of the basket. It is true that every customer who converts counts, but those who shop for higher amounts are especially valuable. A low basket value may suggest an unattractive offer, which should be extended with additional products or a poor presentation of those we already sell. Often there are customers who buy only one product and are not interested in further searching. You may find it helpful complementary product, cross-selling and up-selling.

Increasing sales in an online store is a multi-stage and very complex process. The customers will not appear alone. You have to fight for them, appear online and convince them that by buying in a given store, they will gain much more than by buying from the competition.
