Shoper is software used to create an online store, offering comprehensive online sales management services. This is fully Polish software available in the SaaS model, i.e. Software as a Service. Shoper offers a wide range of templates that have been designed using RWD technology, allowing for display on any device, be it a laptop, tablet or smartphone. 

How does Shoper work?

The Shoper platform allows anyone to create a fully professional online store quickly and easily. The platform makes it easier to run an online store in a completely comprehensive way. What does it mean? At the very beginning, Shoper will allow us to launch an online store, then accept the order, send it to the customer, and finally settle everything for us. Of course, it will also handle returns. The subscription includes full hosting, the latest system infrastructure and Anti-DDoS protection. Shoper additionally provides us with technical assistance at every stage and complete security of running the store and conducting transactions. The software of our online store is constantly updated and adapted to legal requirements. In addition, the platform provides 24/7 monitoring of the store's website to ensure that nothing bad happens to us. 

Shoper – available packages

The Shoper platform offers the purchase of one of three packages. The cheapest one is Standard, it is recommended for businesses just starting their journey in e-commerce. This package has a limit of products that can be found in the store, but it is still as much as 50,000. The next package, Premium, is intended for larger businesses with specific needs and requirements. In this case we get more advanced functions. For online stores requiring a fully individual approach, the Enterprise package is offered, which is the most expensive and most extensive.  

Shoper – payment methods

Shoper, together with Blue Media, is developing its own payment service, Shoper Płatności, which guarantees access to the most popular payment methods known from other online stores. These include quick transfers, payment cards, BLIK, Google Pay and others. However, in addition, all sellers are given the option to configure their own payment method offered by any entity. 

Shoper - shipping

The Shoper Shipments module allows you to configure virtually all available methods of shipping goods, starting from the Standard Package. Here, too, the customer has freedom when it comes to choosing options. You can use the service available in Shoper or independently integrate shipping with operators and courier companies available on the market. Shoper also allows for sales in the dropshipping model, parallel sales on Allegro and compatible with other sales applications. 

Shoper - advantages and disadvantages

Shoper has many advantages. The platform offers support and advice for everyone, both through an effective support team and access to numerous webinars, guides and training. However, the simple operation of the platform means that we can operate it intuitively even without training.

As for the shortcomings, a store built on the Shoper platform does not allow us to freely edit the page, because we do not have access to the store's programming code, and we can only use the templates it offers. 

Trivia

Many popular stores use the services of the Shoper platform, including: A sports channel known to everyone from YouTube, selling mugs, books and sportswear. Another store operating on the platform is the one belonging to the Military Property Agency, where you can buy original military products.
