Many women, with a 1920s-style party on the horizon, wonder what to wear to look like they've just stepped out of a time machine? And they moved back a hundred years? What elements are necessary? There are a few details that are associated with that era and will certainly make us fit perfectly into the style of the 1920s.

First of all – party dresses. Behind the dress, quite simple in cut, often with straps, decorated with sequins, fringes and feathers, were fascinations with the East, brought to Europe along with the so-called white Russian emigration. The second popular model referring to those times is a dress stylized as a men's suit - bows to Coco Chanel! And the obligatory fishnets.

Regardless of whether we buy a real one or just a disguise in a special shop with costumes and gadgets for parties, we should add a few elements to it to give the whole creation authenticity. So - suspenders, a tie and a gangster hat are an absolute must-have for every self-respecting lover and follower of that era.

Hat - also necessary. None decent - and indecent too! – a man in that era did not show up with a bare head. The hat should be matched with a tie or bow tie and of course with the rest of the outfit. It can be white or black, plain or striped. Or a typical party glitter in a neon color.
