Website design and branding: brands and websites that lead to a decision
Websites: a map, not a maze
Visitors should not have to guess where to click, what to look for or why to trust the company. We start with the goal of the page — what the visitor must understand and which step comes next — and only then design the layout, content, UX, visual layer and implementation.
| Step | What we do |
|---|---|
| 1. Goal and audience | Sales page, corporate, recruitment, product or expert site — each is designed differently |
| 2. Information architecture and UX | A path through the offer, arguments, proof and calls to action |
| 3. Content and messages | What the company does, for whom, why to trust it and what sets it apart |
| 4. Visual design and UI | Layout, typography, colour, components and rhythm that make information easier to take in |
| 5. SEO, technology and speed | Content structure, search basics, responsiveness and a site that is easy to manage |
| 6. Launch and growth | Testing, publication and further development: landing pages, integrations, analytics |
Every important page has one clear goal — an enquiry, a download, a sign-up or the next step — and the site is prepared for measurement from day one, so it can be developed on data rather than guesses.
Branding: a strong brand starts with knowing what it really is
Before a logo, a claim, a website or a campaign, we establish what the brand should mean to customers, employees and the market. Then we build a system that works in real channels.
- Brand and market diagnosis — how the brand is seen today, what it says, where it loses clarity against competitors.
- Positioning — the promise, the differentiators and the main idea that guides communication and design.
- Brand language — tone, words, messages and claims that sound the same on the website, in sales, on social media and in PR.
- Visual identity — logo, colour, typography, key visual, photography style, icons and composition rules.
- Rebranding — when the current image no longer fits the scale, offer, audience or ambition of the company.
- Brand materials and brand book — presentations, offers, packaging, templates and rules the team can actually use.
Branding in the age of AI
AI makes it possible to produce ten versions of a material in the time one used to take. That raises one risk: the brand drifts apart faster than anyone notices. We turn the brand book from a file in a folder into rules checked on every material — colour and typography values, forbidden and preferred phrases, correct forms of the brand name, one unchanging promise and a source and date for every number.
AI prepares layout variants and format versions and checks consistency. The choice of direction, the final mark and responsibility for the brand stay with people. Every material leaving Commplace® passes a brand-tone check and a plain-language check before human review.
Selected work
- Etisoft (label manufacturer, 400+ people) — rebranding from label supplier to an Industry 4.0 player, with the ETISIDE knowledge zone and a new brand claim.
- PROMAG S.A. (intralogistics) — brand refresh and a website presenting the full range of warehouse solutions to several decision-makers.
- Documented projects in our case-study library include website and branding, a B2B portal with web design, a logo and brand book, brand architecture and a UX redesign combined with PR.
More about industrial clients: industrial and B2B marketing.
Evidence, not promises
30 years of practice since 1996, 350+ brands, 101 documented case studies (87 backed by a document in the project file), 376 written client references with an average rating of 4.98/5. When a new website brings more enquiries, we check the rise against a baseline from before the launch — correlation is not causation.
